The Research Associate will work in conjunction with the lead analyst of a consumer sector to create and develop equity research reports, models, and industry analyses. TAG trains and develops Research Associates, with upward mobility based on the individual’s capabilities. Our merit-based company has a history of promoting from within.

Requirements & Qualifications

• superior written and oral communication skills
• sophisticated modeling skills, with a strong understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis
• a passion for rigorous research, with a desire to become an industry expert
• the ability to work independently and initiate projects
• Some prior equity research, investment banking, and/or relevant industry experience is preferable as well as Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

The sales person will help expand the firm’s client base. The ideal candidate will develop and grow the company’s new and existing emerging accounts and will be expected to prospect and source new long-only and hedge fund accounts.

• track record of 3+ years of institutional equity sales

The Sales Trader will expand the firm’s trading operation. Ideal candidate will have an existing book of business and long standing relationships with key accounts. Trader will develop and grow the company’s new and existing accounts and will be expected to prospect and source new long-only and hedge fund accounts.

The Intern will work in conjunction with the lead analysts to create and develop spreadsheets, fact-checking, creating presentations, report drafting, and special projects.
